Chinese pepper steak




 Chinese pepper steak with onions*



*ingredients :


•1.5 lbs beef steak (I used thin round steak and cut it into strips)

•1 green bell pepper cut into thick slices

•1 red capsicum, cut into thick slices

•1/2 onion cut into thick slices

•1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

•1 1/2 cups beef broth

•1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger

•3 tablespoons of soy sauce

•1/4 teaspoon black pepper

•2 teaspoons of brown sugar

•1 tablespoon of cornstarch


*Methods :


Put the beef, peppers and onions in an electric pressure cooker.

- Add season, brown sugar and soy sauce to the beef/peppers.

Pour the meat broth into an instant pot.

- Heart to collect.

- Add the lid and make sure it closes tightly. Set the pressure to high for 15 minutes.

-When the quick release is done (or if you want the steak to fall apart, do it normally)

- Removing  covering and press cancel button. Then switch the pressure cooker to fry mode.

In a separate  bowl, mix 1/4 cup cold water and 1 tablespoon cornstarch together. Then, stir the mixture of pepper slices into the mixing bowl.

Boil for 3 to 5 minutes, until the sauce begins to thick
