Buttermilk biscuits & gravy sausage
*ingredients:
°8 pieces of biscuits with milk
°1 pound pork sausage
°2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
°2 1/2 cups half and half
°1 tablespoon of butter
°1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
°1/8 teaspoon dried crushed rosemary
°1/8 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
°Freshly ground black pepper to taste
*Directions:
Brown sausage in a large pot. Use a paper towel to remove most of the fat from the skillet.
- Add flour, butter and half and half. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, for several minutes, until thickened.
- Add thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes and black pepper.
Serve it over warm biscuits.
